drilling a 40 gallon sump

Hi,
i was wandering if anyone new of somebody that drilled aquariums? the last place that i had a tank drilled was at Coral reef aquatics in Athens before they closed. I'm tempted to try myself but if anyone could do it for me that would be great and im willing to pay.I live in Cullman. Thanks for your help.

Dude, you can so do it yourself. I've drilled about ten holes and never had a problem. Here's a link, watch the videos and buy what they tell you, so many people have used them it's sick.

Please check with the manufacturer of the tank, to see if the walls are tempered, before drilling.

Nothing to it. Verify that its not tempered, but being a 40b, its not likely tempered. Glass hole saws are pretty cheap on eBay. That, a drill, a spray bottle (water), some masking tape to help get the hole saw started, and some patience are all you need. Don't put much weight on it at all. Let the weight if the drill do the work and be careful when you get close to pushing through (chipping, etc).
