if i cant get my 55 gallon drilled at my lfs can i do it at a hardware store for an aga megalow? Should i not drill it and put a regular overflow?

I have drilled tanks, there's nothing to it really.
A diamond bit for a dermel ($8.99) and some water.
Just take your time and go slow.
In this thread I drilled a 10G cheapo tank. These are very hard because the glass is SOO thin!!! A bigger tank would have thicker glass and thus be much better and less risky
