drilling holes

Can any one tell me if drilling three 2.5" holes on 6" centers is okay or not? They will be 4" down from the top of the trim. The tank is a 75g. and then another two holes (smaller) same location on the other side. Is this going to be okay?

it should be fine. i had a 65 gal with 2 holes for 1 '' bulkheads with about the same spread

I am going to put the overflow box inside the tank (coast to coast ) and incorperate BeanAnimal's over flow design.

That should be OK. I remember reading somewhere on RC that a rule of thumb is the edges of the holes should be no closer than 1.5 times the width of the hole away from edges and other holes.
