I had coralline on this rock about 3 weeks after I put some in the wild...and customers have reported 2 weeks....so should not be long...especially with your calcium!

still setting up and trying to sculpt but this is the best we can do for the moment the left side of the tank is housing the live rock but we plan to mix them eventually after the tank recycles any suggestions on getting coraline growth? our calcium is way high atm were working on lowering it somthing in our tank is producing it like crazy its 700-1200 ppm

We placed an order online and didn't get a confirmation. Just wanted to see if you had gotten it. It was for 100lbs of dry rock to Westport,OR.
Thanks,
Gary & Tara Paradise

Thanks Gary

I finally got to the bottom of it...seems your address is so long...that their system did not have enough characters in it when they print out the drivers manifest.

So the driver delivered it to 3 rather than 31.....as the one was dropped off of her paperwork. So was not the drivers error, was their system error. They have since addressed that issue and fixed it.

This was the one and only time, ever shipping fed ex that they have messed up a delivery. They are a very efficient organization, usually, but things happen....

all is well, that ends well:spin3:

Richard, this is in no way meant to detract from your statement(as I am sure it is your sincere and honest opinion) but I find that fedex is the worst. I do a lot of shipping, AND receiving, at my work. We use solely UPS. We have used FedEx, TnT, DHL, USPS. The only one, and I mean ONLY one that comes through is UPS. I have noticed that MANY online aquarium supply stores use FedEx, as much of what I could not find locally came in via FedEx. Got about 7 packages in the last 3 weeks. only one made it on time, and multiple packages were "temporarily" lost by fedex, and showed up 3-4 days later. Maybe this is a regional phenomina, but I have had HORRIBLE experience with anyone but UPS.

P.S. is there an end to the soap?

May be for their regular shipping.....but ground.....always makes it.....unless like this...it goes to the wrong address.....

and soap continues....

they are very good with the way I ship rock and critters, express overnight...very pricey...but if it does not get there the next day by the hour specified....there is no charge for freight.....

and a little more....they did ship the replacement rock I sent Priority Overnight service....at no charge..which was hundreds of dollars normally.....so they did atone for the hassle..

They do not like to loose money and are very efficient about that service. As you know all carriers have there shortcomings!

Richard TBS:rollface::rollface::rollface:

I think a lot of it has to do with location. FedEx is the only carrier who flies down from portland early in the am to this dinky K-Falls airport and get an overnight package delivered overnight. Everybody else takes an extra day. Getting out overnight is no problem with etiher though. Knowing what actually happens with the package and how/when it gets out or comes in is the key in any area.
