Drylock Basement

I've drylocked the majority of my basement, but have a small section left to do. My sump/fuge area is already completed, but there are no dividers/etc separating the section I need to finish and my fish area.

I'm going to ventilate the area, but even when I did that last time it was pretty noxious. Any thoughts if this is safe to do? Additional precautions to take?

Thanks!

You using the latex or oil based paint? I don't remember having a big smell issue with the latex, but I did it before my sump setup.

Either way I agree with the above comments if you are worried, I have painted quite a few things in my basement without issue and my sump right next to where I paint.

drylock is kinda nasty. i'd give it a couple of weeks and open some windows/ cover the tank with an old blanket. maybe overkill, you 'll feel like a schmuck if ya kill something

I did my whole basement and my reef tank is down there. no issues. just dont get paint in the water, turn off the skimmer for a few days to be safe and vent so people dont get sick.
