Dsuny LED's thought i'd share

Have a 44x18x18 and have had home built led's over it for a year 10k whites R/b and blues. lately a few of the led's have died so either buy more with solder paste £19, led's £30 led blanks £20 I thought I would explore the midrange ready built sets. After looking online and watching youtube I decided on the Dsuny 40x2 panels from ebay, so far I am very impressed with the build quality and performance, even on half power it fully iluminates my 44 inch tank. It has 4 channels fully programmable but at the moment Iamusing the coral growth program which I thought would be all channels on full power but it gradually ramps up during the day and powers down in the evening to end up on moonlight (6 blues at 15%)

Are you using this over a saltwater reef tank with corals?

This fixture has 56 white leds, 12 blue & violet, 6 red and 4 green. This is an awful light for anything but a fish only tank.

The listing says more blue. There is 120 LED's total, I think 40 blue

says freshwater planted tank right in the description. so no not a great light for saltwater . there are freshwater pics as well , very yellow white.

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in, I ordered a DSunY kit for my 125 (6' tank) and it gives great coverage, and I haven't taken it over 50% yet. The WiFi connection with Android app made it pretty straightforward to program (I wasn't fond of the factory presets) and I gotta say, for $400 I couldn't be happier.
