Dull Greens...Whats The Problem?? HELP!

Pretty much all of my green SPS corals are very pale green. My purple rim cap has lost nearly 100% of its green and now just looks whitish with the purple rim. I have a few other corals that also look more yellow/green than green. The corals all once had a nice green hue to them when I got them as frags. What is the problem? All of my other corals seem to look great. Nice purples, blues, pinks....Just green has the problem :(.

Ive been told low Potassium, or low Iron could be the cause...any ideas???

I have been using Seachem Reef Salt which is supposed to be high in Potassium for the past month. No color change has been noted since switching from IO that I can tell.

i feel a lot of color is based upon lighting, how long were they in your system before they changed color?

I have greens at all depths, and all seem to be fairly dull in green. Like I said these corals pretty much all were a nice color green as frags.

I have lowered my photoperiod on my daylight T5s to 8hrs recently to see if that would do the trick. But I fear it will be a while before I see any effect from a change in lighting. I will just stay the course for now I guess. Everything is growing just fine, they just dont look the right color to me :(

i to sometimes get fading greens. i bought a frag of the incredible hilk table acro and i came in soo freaking bright green, now it is much much duller. i did switch lights recently , went from 250w 10k xm to 400w 20k helios. the pe in the last week has increased a lot so i i hoping that the color will brighten up a bunch too.

I used to have problems keeping color on the green/purple rim caps. Feeding the tank more and using a shorter photoperiod made my greens nice and deep.

Something I started doing about 5 weeks ago was dosing amino acids. It has made all my colors really pop but especially my greens. Green slimer, pathalma, mille purple rim cap etc. I was really overskimming and that may have contributed.
