Dumb Question - Where does the VDM Plug in?

Just curious as to where the VDM plugs in? Can it plug into an existing EB8? The reason I ask is I am planning on swapping lighting (to AI LED) and changing my tunze's over to Apex Control, but My APex is in the basement, but I have one EB8 under the tank (Connected by a 30' Aquabus Cable).

Hoping to be able to just plug the VDM into that EB8.

You got it, VDM plugs into the aquabus via usb. Make sure to get the AI to VDM adapter cable, this is not included with the VDM itself.
