Dump buckets for sps?????

do they work for sps? has anyone tried this idea for flow? has anyone heard of problems when using dump buckets?

Do you mean a surge set up? If so, that is probably the best set up for SPS you can have. It gaves a real nice natural wave action.

They're excellent for water motion and the effects on corals are very good. If you've got access to them and are willing to deal with the potential negatives (salt spray, etc.) I'd strongly suggest them.

im building a sps propagation system and to cut down on cost i was thinking about doing a surge system. their are many different styles of surge systems, is their a certain one that works better then the others?
