Duncan Coral Help

I have had a Duncan Frag for some time now and its starting to produce several new heads and the heads are looking great however the original heads are slowly dying off. Any Input? Thanks

Have you tried feeding them some mysis or brine shrimp? I have only had older heads die from a coral war with my frogspawn!

Do you feed? I don't feed many of my coral but Duncan is one that I found to do better when fed.

Yes, I feed 2-3 times a week

How are they dying off? Is there still plenty of tissue on the stalks? Or is the tissue receeding up the stalk?

As my Duncan grows, the original heads end up getting shaded by the new heads and die off. Not sure how big your colony is (pictures help!), but could this be the issue?

I have seen them close up before when new ones start to grow. They always open back up tho.
