Ok i been having a duncan 2 heads in my tank for 2+ months now and all has been well feeding 2 times a week growning in size and all then 3 days ago it closed up and has not opened since.

cal. 432
ph 8.1
alk 9
phos 0
nitrite 0
nitrate >10

any ideas?

Your ph is low, and nitrates could be lower.
Check out Marine buffer 8.3, By seachem.
Its my fav' stuff at this moment, raises to 8.3 and never higher.
May take a few days of adding this for the ph to become stable.

Do you have any corals with sweepers that may have stung it? How about fish that may be nipping at it to get the food leftovers (tangs, foxface etc.)?

I keep at least 10" between it and anyother coral,do have
couple tangs in there but i usually protect it from other fish while its eating i currently moved it higher up in the tank off the sand to see what happens .

Maybe try to make a cover by cutting the top off a 2 liter bottle, never underestimate tang's nippiness =)
