Dust storm question

I'v have my tank up for about 7-8 months, and a couple of days ago my maxi jet fell off the glass and made a mess. I have a deep sand bed and it blew all the way down to the glass. The question is, can this mess up my nitrate, nitrite, ammonia lvs?

The biggest concern would be rapid release of hydrogen sulfide, and associated toxicity. If there is no smell, and no stressed corals, it should be OK. I assume that only a portion of the sand bed got messed with. You might see a slight blip in ammonia and possible the others, but I wouldn't worry too much.
