May I suggest a Tamron 90 2.8? They are very versetile and you can get the older versions for cheap and they are just as good. I double up my Tammy 90 by also shooting portraits with it. True Macro lenses are slow focusing but in portraits, you can simply manually adjust focus.
Can I suggest you Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens?
It's just great, or you can find another one if you want. I'm placing a link below, they've got a huge range of Tamron lenses at very reasonable price if you like any of these then place an order. http://www.trdelectronics.co.uk/collections/lenses-tamron

I am not saying that is a bad lens, actually, I'm sure it is a good one, however, that sort of lens will be aimed towards a specific photographer. That wide angle range will be fine for FTS but for macro shots, it wouldn't be my first choice. Macro lenses inherently demand that you get close to a subject, the wider the zoom range, the closer you'd have to get to the subject. Conversely, the more range, e.g., a 90mm lens, will allows you to step back more and get a lot more detail in each and every shot. Again, a 15-30 lens would be great for a FTS, especially on a FF sensor, but for true macro, I would actually go with an actual macro lens, which the 15-30 is not. True macro lenses will tend to be primes, and not zooms. "typically"
