Dutch Royalty Reef

It's so far... I changed my Di media of my reverse osmosis system and my Tds stay nice on 0.

Vacation is finished and the part of filling the tank has started. I calculated that I need 15 hours for only filling the main tank. Tomorrow salt and than a night running on the streamers to mix it well. When the rock will be placed and sand the missing water will be filled up.
I believe I will be running on Sunday afternoon with the whole system and rock. Than it is time to relax for the next X weeks.

Here is the first drup of water entering the tank.

This is the level after 2 hours. Still 44cm to go before the overflow.

And the TDS stay nice on 0000

I have bin very busy today with good results. Yesterday waking up in the morning with my tank full and sump with osmosis water... Finally... Mixing the salt. I used reef crystals in total 37 kg to reach 35 ppm on the refractor meter. Now again 24 hours waiting until this morning because I had to wake up early to pick up my rock that I already run in my other tank for one and an half month to the nitrate down and all the bad house owners off the rock what you get for free with it. I toke 7 crabs out some worms and 3 mantis shrimps. Lucky not in my display tank. 60 kg live rock and 30 kg Caribbean live sand. In the car to go home again to start the aqua scaping. I like to built open and with a lot off space to place a lot sps corals.
I finished my Royal exclusive piping as wel today as I forgot yesterday two Corners when this was finished I started up the system. Tomorrow I will do fine tuning and program my profilux.
So here are the picks.

Great build so far. Very nice.

If you open a photobucket account or something similar, you can post full size photos instead of thumbnails. Will make your thread look great!

sure you are michel !
nice to see you in here also!

with your showroom build tank, very nice !
i love your tank !

Yesterday and today was a bit of problem day with my profilux. First was a level sensor that was broken... How I don't have a clue. Lucky I had a spare one. Than when I try to update the computer to firmware 5.17 it got interrupted half way the process and my profilux was death. No sign of life at all
First I was thinking a fuse. Than power supply but reading GHL forum I found out to flash the profilux with a RS232 cable.
Today straight to the electronic shop to buy one and in no time it was up and running again.

For the rest I have not many things to tell as I only will order some equipment from GHL. This will be a flow sensor for the return pump. Some level sensors. And an extra pH card to monitor my calcium reactor and two powerbar 6 socket pab. As well two dosing units each 4 heads and humility sensor for in the sump area what switch on the ventilators in the sump to keep it dry. .

Everything looks great! Keep posting pics :)

Thanks a lot... And the pics will come...

Love to see new rimless builds, always turn out great!

I am also in love with rimless tanks. it looks for me more open and fresh.

I bin busy again. Yesterday my Royal Exclusive bio pellet reactor arrived in my home and i built it in straight away. First the JNS out. This not because of his performance but I just love Royal Exclusive.
I have to wait only for my new Red Dragon pump adjustable in speed for controlling my reactors and chiller.
I did my first measurements and it was not so bad at all. Temperature is because I didn't started my chiller yet because I am still in the cycle. Kh was low and I will buffer it day by day until the correct value. This as well for Magnesium level.

Now time for some pic's

Really nice equipment you have there. What brand of dosing containers are you using? I see three of them in your pics hooked up to your bubble magus doser.

The dosing containers are JNS. The good thing about this containers are, that you can empty them completely and their is no hose going in the container.
The Bubble Magus is my spare unit. I am waiting for my GHL dozers 2x 4 heads who will come somewhere next month with the other equipment i ordered from GHL.
