Dwarf angel list

Is there a quick place that I could go to that would give me a list of all the dwarf angels. Broken down by reef safe and not would be even better..

No dwarf angel is reef safe. The question is whether your corals are healthy enough and will grow fast enough to offset any damage the angels will do.

Completely agree with the above. As for a list, you can find the most complete one in fishbase:

http://www.fishbase.de/

When you get to the site above, search by scientific name: genus Centropyge (that's the dwarf angel genus). When you get to the first results page there will be 53 names, you should then click on "See only Valid Names". This will take you to a table with 34 species and that's the most complete and up to date list of dwarf angels.

Good deal, thanks. Just was wondering what to call mine.

Nice, I am not an author but reviewed the paper and should get a copy as soon as it is published. I will post something here when it comes out (that is if I am not somewhere without internet photographing other rare ones :) ).

Are there any that you would say are better suited for a reef than others? Or is it more of a they all pick corals at about the same rate kinda thing?

Great, and thanks. Heck, I would wait if you were out taking some more great pictures.

I heard it's called Centropyge toddrtrexi.

Ha, that is funny.

Every dwarf angel is going to be an individual, but over the years I have seen some patterns -- lemonpeels and bi-colors are awful with any corals.
One thing I have noticed with any dwarf -- they LOVE fleshy LPS.

Out of the ones that I currently have, my C. venustus is the "best", leaves my SPS pretty much alone, doesn't bother zoas and clams. But, again LOVES fleshy LPS. My multicolored is pretty much the same way.
