dwarf angels, compatibility issues?

I have a 75 gal. sw FOWLR tank and looking to add one or more dwarf angels.

Can anyone help me out with which kinds are compatible with each other? I have heard different things from different people. I am considering any of the following dwarf angels : flame angel, lemonpeel angel, coral beauty angel, bicolor angel, red stripe angel, or rusty angel.

Let me know if any combo of these - or if none at all - are compatible in a 75 fowlr tank.

Thanks

I currently have a bicolor and a flame in my 160. No issues at all. I had a flame with a red stripe in a 46 gallon tank. There was no fighting but I did not have that tank very long so I do not know the longevity of the relationship.

I would pick two that are different in looks and size. Also, add them to the tank about the same time so they do not establish defined areas of the tank.

I had a Flame and a Half Black together with no problems other than my Half Black wouldn't stop nipping my corals, so out she came. The Half Black is similar to the Red Stripe, if you're talking about the Elbi. Mine tank is a 90 gallon and the Half Black was added over two years after the Flame. It probably will depend on the individuals.

I have a flame and a potters in my 46 bow with no problems. I didn't introduce them at the same time either so I kinda got lucky. Good luck with whatever you do.

You could do it. Like previously stated, choose two that are NOT similar in color. and maybe size. Also, add at the same time.

I have a 100 gallon (5 ft tank) with a flame and coral beauty and each of them do there own thing. Put lots of hiding places if you plan on having more than 1 dwarf angel.

We are thinking about a flame, bicolor, coral beauty, and a lemonpeel in a 55 gallon with a couple of ocellaris clowns - how would this work? Would all of the angels need to be introduced simultaneously?

I think 4 dwarf angels in a 55 is pushing it.

To the OP...I have had a coral beauty and flame angel together, but always in bigger tanks. (180, 210). I'm not sure how they'd get along in a 75...that's kind of small for territory issues. I also added mine at the same time.

I have four in my ninety gallon 3 potters and a African flameback. No issues with aggression as of yet.

How do you think 2 or 3 would do in 55?

We are mainly stuck on getting a flame angel and a lemonpeel angel for certain but we would like to get a bicolor and a coral beauty too but we don't have to have both.

I did it by adding all of them at the same time. I think that you could do three just add them at the same time like I did. Additionally try to make sure they are different sizes as well. Just remember this is my own experience not everyones. Some people make it work and others have to make changes right away due to fighting. Before I had a 90 I had three in my 46 a bicolor, lemonpeel, and a coral beauty. Hope this helps Tony

Does the bicolor nip at anything? Better question is what coral do you have in there with it? I am leaning towards this combo in a 180

Thanks. Like I said before, we have our minds pretty set on getting a flame angel and a lemonpeel angel, but we wanted to do a third as well, but I may see about adding a large angel instead maybe? Are there any large angels that would do well in a 55?

No, no large angel will do well in a 55, they just get too big.

To the OP, I currently have a multi-colored and a potter's in my 58. I introduced the multi-colored last. Had a bigger issue from my pink skunk pair, as opposed to the Potter's.

Well, I've only had my C. bicolor 3 weeks, but no nipping at corals. Heck, wish she'd eat the dang mushrooms! As far as I know, bicolor is pretty unsafe, but Lemonpeels are the WORST. Though I know there are RC members that have had them behave, while C. argi ( Cherub or atlantic Pygmy) went to town eating corals.
Flames & Lemonpeels can get pretty aggressive, I'd say be very, ver careful. Probaly have to add both at the same time. BTW, C. flavimus (Lemonpeel) is a pretty delicate fish. So are Bi-colors.
