Dwarf Angels vs. Coral (LPS, Soft)

This is true, they are more of the "stinging" type.

If this is true, will they not bother elegance corals?

Fortunately, my Potter's angel has never nipped a thing: I keep zoos, frogspawn, leathers, mushrooms, xenia, acans, and a couple of elegance corals, along with a few SPS. I'm thinking of pushing my luck and adding a trachy, lobo, or scoly next.

I had a Coral beauty for about 4yrs in my 55gl and it was the best behaved fish in the tank. I had zoos, xenia, leathers brains and hammers. I would take the risk, just dont put a sea turtle in there with your hammers:)

Just added a really nice frogspawn and hammer coral I local-picked-up from a fellow member on this forum and my Angel hasn't touched it.

It probably won't either. I have kept and/or currently am keeping a flame angel, red sea regal angel, majestic angel, golden angel and coral beauty along with frogspawn and torches and NONE have ever even nipped once at those corals. Now zoos, xenia and meaty corals like open brains are a different story.

zoos, clams if they become stressed, and lps corals not so much the entire thing but they eat off the feeder tentacles and then of course the coral begins to die off. I have only heard of one reefer that had a flame that occassionally would check out the zoos in the tank. I actually have one flame now and am thinking of pairing him up with a nice little guy we have at the store now but will need to do some planning to make sure that he has the best possible chance of making it well as a pair.
