Hello Reefers,
In my cube reef tank, I have a dwarf canary eel. He's been in there for a few months now with no problems. But yesterday i discovered the little guy in my sump. He was in the initial chamber so im guessing he mananged to get into the overflow box and then into the plumbing. I am planning to add a few more pieces of liverock hopefully with more holes for him to hide in so he isnt tempted again to escape. I also plan to remove all of my sand from my tank.
I just wanted to get any thought/input from others reguarding encouraging the moray to stay within the tank. Also do you think i should move around and add more rock, or remove the eel and through him in another tank?
Also in the tank there is a large rose bubble tip, a few acro colonies, frogspawn, hammers, table duncans, leathers, shrooms, stylopora, birdsnest coral, and the other fish are 2 clowns, and a dwarf angel.
Thanks,
Billybloo
