Keeping it Simple
Does anyone have any experience with this particular fish? I'm looking for some good articles on them.

Items of interests are:

1. How well do they ship?
2. Special cares?
3. Do they group together?
4. Easy to acquire?

Thank you for any and all info! :)

Mike, I did find out that they require live feedings at first. Also, there's a warning about using them with propeller powerheads, so that makes me concerned about the MP20. It's a shame because I was really liking the idea of them. But, maybe someone with some experience with chime in.

Tough to keep, you will need rotifer and/or baby brine cultures to start. They usually come in very skinny and will need a ton of feeding to get them back in the pink. They'll need small food essentially all day long to do well. I think they would do great in a refugium or downstream from a heavily fed NPS tank. Just about anything will eat them.

Thanks for the Reef Central link. Already one step ahead of you on Google. I just thought I'd ask here hoping I'd also find someone with personal experience; sometimes articles have blanket suggestions. That's why I like to read from both types of sources.

On another note, the lmgtfy.com link suggestion is based on an assumption (if it's intended to be passive aggressive). If it's a joke, no problem. If it's not...no problem. :p I aim to make sure that my words don't appear offensive. I think on forums this is probably the best policy of communication.

But, my opinion doesn't really matter at all. Thanks again for the RC link; that's exactly what I was hoping to find. I didn't think about using 'mini' dartfish in my RC search.

That seems to be the answer that I'm finding the most. Probably not a great choice for a simple nano. Thanks for the response! :)

The only reason I offered the lmgtfy link was becasue I knew there was a reefcentral thread on these fish and I found it using google :D

Either way I hope you find a great fish for your tank.

Well, I will admit that I didn't go past page 1 after reading a few articles. Since I had tried RC's own search for 'em, I didn't think Google would bring up more on RC. But, the 'mini dart gobie' didn't seem to show up on RC. I guess Google's search engine is way smarter, which makes sense. ...and feeling a little lame in trying to justify my results. :p Either way, thanks for the link, Tim. That's exactly what I was looking for.

I'll try harder on my own, before posting a thread I suppose.

For the future, try Google this way: "minidart gobie", site:reefcentral.com to restrict search to reef central. Yes, Google search is way, way smarter, but RC is probably the best source.
