Dwarf golden Moray issue

I have recently received a pair of these beautiful animals from Hawaii, and I noticed today that the larger of the two has a growth starting to come out of it's mouth? I originally thought that it had just got a pellet of food stuck there and it would go away, not the case. I will post a photo when I can get a good one. It is reddish pink in color.

Any Ideas?
