Dwarf Lion in Reef?

Hello Everyone,

Im wondering if there are any dwarf lions that MAY be possible to add to a (75g) reef where I have no inverts(besides corals) and the following fish:

-2 Cinnamon Clowns
-1 Yellow Tang
-1 Pajama Cardinal
-1 Mandarin

and possibly a Coral Beauty.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

Chris

They can be put in a reef but they may possibly take out your other fish if they can get them in their mouth. They often may be more difficult to see so caution is advised if working in the tank

I'd be most worried about the waste and the fact that you'll never be able to keep any kind of small fish or inverts. It would work with all of the fish you listed unless the clowns are really small though.

I have keep a drawf lionfish in my 55gal reef tank with no problems.

3 Blue green chromis
2 clarkii
1 percula
1 pink spotted goby
1 Wrasse

percula was small enough to fit in the lions mouth but he never ate him. They even hung out together around the same cave.

I got one of my fuzzies that way, it was from someone that kept their lion with smaller fish also, for about 1 year. One day they came home & all their fish were gone....

It will eventually happen if the fish is small enough, Lions are not slow growers.

drawf lions don't get that big maybe 6 - 7inches size of a male maroon clownfish MAYBE a little bigger
