Dwarf Red Tipped Hermit crabs mating!

Strangest thing just happened. I heared some clicking in my tank, and I went to go check it out thinking it was a pistol shrimp. What I saw was two dwarf red tipped hermit crabs doing the hibidy dibidy on the front glass. One was laying on its back while the other (I'm guessing the male here) was shaking vigorously! Each time he did that 10-20 little crabs (looked almost like tiny mysid shrimp) floated away. I got them into a cup and saved about 50-100 babies. This is exciting! Didn't even know I could have conditions in my tank for breading.

Woke up this morning to find all the babies that I put in a cup dead. Maybe ammonia posioning, maybe something else. Oh well.
