Easiest to care for? Not by a long shot. They eat only LIVE foods. Newly hatched bbs, enriched 2 or 3 day old brine, copepods, etc.

Tank raised they can be purchased from Ocean Rider, Draco Marine or SeahorseSource. Only sources I'm aware of.

Do lots of research before you jump into dwarf seahorses. They are nothing like the larger seahorses in terms of tank conditions or care.

Best of luck.

Yep, they have very specific needs. Don't rush into anything.

Look at seahorse.org and their library. Also Alisa Abbott's book is a good read.

Thanks for all your reply. I got that info from "seahoreses, a complee pet owner's manual" by barrons's. So what is the most easiest seahorse to take care?

That book is useful with some information, but some/most of it is outdated. A good "beginners" seahorse would be most likely h. kuda.
