Have any of yall ever heard of ricordeas being dyed. I know nems are on occasion by some of the shadier dealers but are rics as well? I ordered a couple of rics from a local dealer that had them labeled as flaming orange rics. i added two to my order and upon arrival they can best be described as hunter orange. Pics don't really show the color but they stand out in the tank like hunter orange does in the woods.

Those are perfectly legit colors. I have gotten a lot of rics from coralmorphalogic and seen some pretty crazy morphs posted. I don't think there would be much point in dyeing them as they come in most every color plus the neons. Can't say I've heard of any true red ric floridas though.

that looks like the rics that coral morphologic is selling as "OG Orange Krush" I picked up two of them and they are outstanding. The brightest orange I've seen and with the blue fluoro mouth..Totally legit...never heard of a dyed ric

Good to know, thanks guys.

coralmorphalogic-- Did not know of this site. I see money getting ready to fly out of my account.

Looks legit to me also. No need to dye ricordia they already come in lots of colors.

Man, yall are going to be the death of my wallet. I'm used to the same ole drab yellowish/green ones my LFS stocks, which is why these fancy orange ones threw me for a loop. Yall opened up a whole new world to me. I can only assume this intense desire to find more rics is what a drug addict feels like.

I know I am not the only one, but I could do a whole tank in nothing but rics and zoas. Think 3'x3'x16" shallow rimless. Occasionally there will be some pretty sweet purples come through (my fav.) I can't pull the trigger any more since I am moving in a year, but I fully understand the addiction. Just wait till you are on their email list and get updates, thats when the junkie kicks in.

Btw, cramers critters is another great place. It is usually a bit cheaper and has a real nice selection as well.
