Dying anemone

We got a white carpet anemone 2 weeks ago. Today we noticed it was detached, it shrunk, and it's mouth is open. We are unsure on how to tell if its dead or dying and if we should try to save it or get rid of it before it kills everything else. We have a 55 gallon aquarium thats been set up for about 3 months, t5 lights

. We have 2 clownfish, two damsels, 2 shrimp, and crabs. We have been feeding the anemone pieces of shrimp twice a week.

Too early for one in that tank.

Nems should be one of the last things to go into the tank. I'd give it another 6 months before you try again.
And for future reference, a classic old school method for telling if something is dead is to smell it. Seriously.
