Dying anemone

Hi everyone, 6 months ago I started my first reef tank, everything looks fine, and all the water parameters are perfect, the only problem is my anemone, or part of my anemone is dying, I read terrible story about dying anemone killing everything in the tank and now I'm not sure if I should take it off the tank.
I appreciate any help.
I attach a photo of my anemone.

Thanks in advance, Francesco

Thats not an Anemone looks like a branching Torch Coral.

Definitely a type of torch coral. Anemone are not a coral but are an invertebrate and can move about as they please. It can be common for heads to die on these type coral either from trauma, being shaded out, disease, something picking at it, etc.

I have to agree it looks a lot like a torch coral does it have a foot or a trunk like stem?
