hey all,
i really need everyones help for this.
i have a 10 gallon reef tank with a suspected dying mushroom. I did some research and found that they split sometimes. However to my perception its not splitting, something has to be terribly wrong.
I got my water checked out at 2 trusted fish store and they told me the water parameters were fine. I made a mistake 3 days ago when i topped off the evaporated water level with some sort of nursery purified water for toddlers. I later found out it contained added potassium bicarbonate, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and sodium flouride. Contains up to .7 mg/L added fluoride. I freaked out when i found out and did a 20% water change, added some tap water conditioner and changed the carbon in one of my filters. All my other fish and corals are doing fine. HEre are some before and after pics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
