Dying, Reproducing, or other?

I just noticed something crazy going a mushroom on my mushroom rock... Ive seen them shed their guts before, but not wth extra tissue attached... someone please enlighten me:

it looks like it's expelled it's innards I have a book with a similar picture says it does this when stressed,injured,or unhappy

low light and good water flow is recommenced to help it recover

thanks for the info. Its swallowing them up as we speak, almost got them completely back in. Although, i think the pink tissue fell off.... I wonder what stressed it.. the other 15 or so shroom are just fine.
