Hi guys,

My friend bought E. quadricolor one week ago and after sever days she died. Aquarium was about 100 l, with home made skimmer, and refugium with algaes and about 4 cm aragonite. There was 3 pumps each 1000 l/hour. Lighting 3 x 24 W (2 x15000 K, 1 x 22000 K) t-5 with indivual reflectors. Aquarium was about 1.5 month old with cured live rocks and dead rocks (they was kept in other aquarium for 1,5 month before adding to new aquarium). All parameters was ok. In sever first days anemone moved from one place to another and finally find place. At the next day my friend add another 2,4 litres/hour pump. After this water movement changement anemone started move in water like catherine wheel and on next day dissapered from aquarium.
Maybe someone had same problem and have any recomendations?

P.S. My friend dont speak in english so I wrote instead him.

Yeahae, maybe, becouse pumps waere seio in europe they caled marea pumps. I made friends have discusion about it. My friend said that anemone atached for one pump but was night and he is going to slep as in other day have a lot awork. When new pump has atached we make some experimets we wanted to make bigger colonisation of mushrooms and cutted them with razor blades. After we added carbon. So i think toxins should be absorbed. Oh, before it son of my friend too much added RO water, it can make influence for salinty and pH too. But i think that the bigest problem was new pump that make another " fireworks". In aquarium was some small colonies of Zoanthidea, very smal parts of Xenia. No fishes. Some my friends says that anemones cant add if your aquarium have minimum 6 momths but I think problem was in other plays as now Prodibio, Seachem and etc. have a lot of problem to dissoleve a lot of promlems in nano aquarium. We used Salifert (mainly) an for pH JBL (Germany) tests. In future we want to test (and we tested pH for one time) in chemical labaratory tests as our friend have company for water analysis, but only for fresh water, of course he can make tests by ISO. I heard that E.quadricolor can put in tank when he is 6 months old but I cant believe , if use some bacteria strains, no food, no NO3, no other harmull substances , so what the problem?

Thanks for answers and I hope that will be more suquestions about E.quadricolor :)

Kind regards for members
