I can't really tell the difference between the two. Can any of the Zoa experts help me out here. I just want to know if any of you have any advice on how to distinguish between them. TIA

eagle eyes have more of a yellow center....watermelons are more red/pink/orange

light can turn either the other way IME to some extent although I do have a handful of morphs of them and the best ones are a whammn wtermelon that the centers could never turn yellow. they are straight up bright red/pink under all lighting

Look at the center on both.

those are just your morphs timanator. I would actually argue that your watermelons arent really whamm'n watermelons at all.

They are sweet though. even cooler with the solid color IMO

Looks like they might be Dragon eyes, they were given to me as Watermelons.

:)

Fiji/Tonga=orange, Indo=reddish and Solomon who knows? but they are smaller.

I have no idea why? Just our vast oceans being vast oceans.
BTW I have never been able to change a more red eye polyp into an orange eye polyp--just different genes I guess?????????

See mine look like the "Eagle Eye" picture that Timanator or the picture that Feederfish posted except in the center where the purple dot is, inside of the purple dot is a green dot (concentric circles kinda)
