east bay area lfs?

hey guys i just moved to norcal, fairfield to be exact but i was wondering if anyone knew any good lfs in the area... somewhere in the 707 area code would be nice. thanks also if there is any local reefers in my area let me know i'd like to get out and meet some new people in the hobby.

In Fairfield, there's Sea Splendor that deals with fresh and salt water. The owners are Evans and Paula. Though not a big store that is the closest to your area. Or drive to Pleasant Hill and check All About Fish and big store with a lots of corals and fish and supplies. Owner is Tatao. HTH.

Sea Splendor is a good store Evan is very knowlage able and is trying to improve his selection. if you are looking for Coral frags you might what to contact Clint at http://www.diamondsinthereef.com/ he is in napa and has almost any thing you you might want he is a really nice guy and has very fair prices

Welcome to the area ! I'm not too far from you, in Vacaville ?
Sea Splendor is pretty good, but other than that, not too much else. Your best bet would be to head to the Bay, or Sac.

A really neat store in Roseville is Your reef - great prices and variety, and friendly faces too !

I generally think of the east bay, as Richmond down to Milpitas. Is Fairfield really considerred "east bay"?

i assume its easy bay, atleast thats what i have heard people say about this area. Any how this input is great. If anybody else knows of any good places please keep it comming. THanks
Shilo im actually from fairfield im not too far from vacaville tho. Im at the border of the 2 cities.

Featherer Pets openend in Benicia, they dont have a huge selection but the owner is really nice, and says he can get a lot of stuff by request. I havent caught his name yet, only been in twice as i just moved back here.

they have corals, mostly lps and softies

all about fish in pleasent hill is a pretty cool place as well

In Fairfield, Suisun, Vacaville area Sea Splendors on North Texas is really the only place for corals and saltwater stuff although their dry goods are a bit pricey. There's World of Pets that carry some saltwater stuff but their corals are pretty dismal (both heath and selection). Although if you go there on Friday afternoons when the new livestock shipment comes in you can generally spot a good deal or 2 on SW fish.

I also recently noted that Petco in Vacaville's Nutree shopping center has started carrying some corals and clams. I wouldn't buy anything from Petco though. They had maxima and crocea clams under pretty weak PC lighting when I was there last.
