EB 4 voltage?

Is it normal to have a fluctuation of a small amount of voltage on the energy bar 4 even though nothing is plugged in? I have yet to install the system but have it set up on my living room table with an EB8 with a gaming adapter plugged in but nothing on the EB4. No voltage is showing on the EB 8.

What do you mean by 'a small amount of voltage', where are you reading the voltage and using what method? It is possible you are reading a difference in ground potential but since you didn't say where you are reading the voltage it is hard to say.

It's showing up on the graph and the control module ranging from 0 to .03. I just found in the users manual how to recalibrate but unsure if this is what I need to do?

It won't hurt it to recalibrate, just be sure that nothing on the EB4 is drawing power when you do it.

Oh, you mean that you are getting a readout saying that there is a current draw; I thought you have a multi-meter and where measuring voltage.

Yes, just calibrate and all will be well.

Ground potential, put very simply is a small voltage that is measured when the ground between 2 devices has a different reference. Not related to what you have.

I actually just updated firmware to 4.04 2b11 from the previous release and seems to have fixed the problem for now.

Firmware?

Firmware?

I currently have firmware 4.04_BC10 installed and was wondering if it is the latest release? Neptune is showing 4.04-2B11 in there download menu. Which one is the latest?

My unit shipped direct from Neptune 2 weeks ago but I just assumed what was on the website was the latest? It shipped with 4.04 BC10.

BC10 is the latest; I don't know what is on the website so I'd suggest against loading it. I'll find out and get back to you though.
