EB8 and Extension Socket Problems

I have two Apex problems:
1. one of my triac outlets on my EB8 is stuck ON after I had it controlling a small motor I used in a DIY auto feeder when on vacation. Interestingly it stayed on with enough current to vibrate the motor, but not rotate it. Now it is stuck on - i don't think there is much to do about it. Guess I should've used 4 or 8.
2. I have a socket extension module into which I had my two 400W MHs plugged. Interestingly the MHs would cycle on and off, while the Apex said they were on. I have determined it has nothing to do with the EB8 or programming, as it happens even if the extension module is operated alone, with both plugs energized from the wall outlets. Furthermore I have found that after several minutes on, the extension module outlets shut off for about 18 seconds and then turn back on, but the MHs obviously take more time to restart. Are the extension modules overheating? Are the 2 x 400W MHs too much for it? Are the relays defective? Of note there is no problem if just one MH is plugged into it. Well I have moved both MHs to my second EB8 and they work fine, drawing 3.5 amps apiece, on triac outlets. Am I missing something? Any ideas?
Thanks.

Have you tried unplugging the EB8 from the wall for a couple minutes. Usually that will clear a stuck outlet.

Thanks Alan, but the outlet is still stuck on. I'll live tho.Unfortunately, my other extension socket for my two 500W heaters is now giving me problems: the heaters won't stay on, as the extension sockets turn themselves off.
