EB8 Placement

Is it ok to put an EB8 in the cabinet with the sump? It won't be in a location that could get splashed or anything...probably a couple feet between the EB8 and sump itself. Just wondering about humidity, etc.

Also, what sort of issues do I need to worry about probe wires and getting interference from power lines?

As long as it can't get splashed, you should be OK. As an extra precaution, I placed tape over the unused aquabus connections. I have not had any interference issues, but in general you want to avoid running sensor wires alongside high power wires/devices.

I've had issues with ATO pumps not turning on/off if they are on any outlet except for 4 or 8.

That is a function of the type of relay. The triac relays (1-3,5-7) need a minimum amount of current to operate correctly. Most powerheads, dosers, etc. are below that threshold.

mine are on the far left... I had to be careful, because the coca cola sponsored skimmer overflow container CAN send salt spray out the top if I dont clean it out on a timely basis.. found that out when I put it on the RIGHT of the return pump (in the front right corner)
