Echinata dip

Is coral rx safe to use on the smooth skin corals? LFS has a Echinata that I'm consider getting. I'm seeing the pe on the end of the tips. They don't list what it is other then "echinata". It's more blue in color, but that was under blue led's. With the price tag of only $22 I figure why not right?

I'd say go for it, as for cor rx i havent used it, i use revive and haved dipped smooth acros with no ill effects

Woah Hold on there.

I wouldn't dip any smooth skin acro in coral rx or revive, especially revive. Get some bayor insect killer and use that.

Ya I just dipped a enchanta in coral rx and it stressed it out but survived stressed it out.. I don't think I would dip another one though I didn't know

Yeah I'm reading and reading and I get contradicting information. I can get coral rx or revive from the los or hit up home depot first. I'm kinda set on grabing the shortcake and Echinata. I don't have a coral qt, only one for fish. I'm hesitant right now due to all the different info I read.

I picked up bayer the other day and I'm going to use from
Now on .. It's kinda sketchy to use the first time but have heard and read great things and if its easy on the smooth skin acros even better I know for sure coral rx is a little rough on them

Yeah I pulled the trigger and got the bayer and used it on a replacement strawberry shortcake and echinata. The guy said that's what they use too. Makes me feel better I guess.

Good thing is they dip when they get them, and then every two weeks they pull everything out and dip again. Kinda explains why I had nothing come off them during the process. I only had them in for 10 minutes. I wasn't sure if I should have kept these two in for a 15 minute dip.

They both went on the sandbed towards the side. I'm trying to keep what would be the least PAR area. Radion is only running about 30% now anyways.

Anyways thanks for the advice and wish me luck.
