Eclipse system 12

I have an Eclipse System 12 and was wondering if I would be able to use it as a salt water aquarium. I am interested in having a shallow sand bed with live rock, some coral (not sure what kind yet. Any suggestions?), and a few colorful fish. What do I need to do to modify this aquarium in order to be successful? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'd definitely want to upgrade the stock 13W lighting. Maybe some stronger PC's would fit in the hood?

That's using an AquaClear 70 hang-on-the-back filter as a refugium. They're huge enough (the 70 holds over a gallon) to work well once they've been modded to reduce the flow rate. I'm about to put one on my 5G.

I'm not all that familiar with the Eclipse 12, but I have the Wal-Mart knockoff of the Eclipse 6 that I was able to put 2x13 PC's in. I'm sure something similar would fit in a 12. Check www.ahsupply.com for PC kits.
