Clear water and a good view of the standard reef lighting that comes with the ecopico reef-ready model. Easily upgradable.

Cycling complete, time for some critters. Love the coco worm. Maroon clown will outgrow this tank rapidly, so sadly he is only temporary.

Not too shabby! Only suggestion I have is moving the maroon clown to a new home. Other than that it's looking great.

Thanks! Ya, I plan on moving him into my 55 gallon when it's ready, hopefully as soon as the cycle is complete. Like I said he's going to outgrow the pico and have to be moved.

How many pounds of live sand and live rock did you put into this tank build? How long did it take to cycle? Did you add anything to the filter or did you leave it with the standard mechanical sponge?

I think I put about 6 pounds lr and maybe 8 pounds of live sand in. It took about a week and a half to cycle, pretty quick I thought.
