I do not have experience with the 112 however I do with the ecoray 60D. I agree with the people that have said it does NOT cover a 24x24 area (at least at full intensity). I currently have one on my 45 bow front & although there is a light pattern that covers the entire tank, the majority of the light is directed straight down under the fixture & spreads a few inches out each direction. It almost reminds me of a laser pen. The color is brilliant though, & the shimmering effect put off by the lights is stunning. Don't get me wrong, this light does provide adequate growth for my corals but they need to be placed pretty much directly under the fixture to get the proper lighting they need. I now have a 150 watt MH that I won at a raffle two weeks ago, so I do not have this issue anymore but the only corals I kept outside of direct light was mushrooms & zoas. They seemed to be pretty happy anywhere in. the tank. Now I have LED on one side if the tank & mh on the other.
