It's down worldwide. It happens periodically when they are working on the servers, but it won't impact your programs. Just your ability to change them until they're done.

Isn't that annoying!?! They should at least post something on their web site to let people know. Paying a premium for a product 2 or 3 times more than anything else out there and then it's down. Not cool in my book.

EcoSmart live is the program that you can use to run all of the Ecotech Marine products. Kind of like the Apex for your Vectra, Vortech pumps and Radion lights. It's brand specific for now. I imagine they will come out with a full blown controller like Apex or DA soon.

I have had it for 1 week and I hate it already. Figuring your way through all of the quirks is a royal PITA. It took me 2 days to get the schedule to update. No way it would do it form the phone app but once I fired up the laptop it was up and running in seconds. I hate this thing! One more little flaw and the reef link is gong back to the store!

There has been alot of talk lately of ecotech coming out with their own controller using ecosmart live to compete against Apex. Well, they need to get their intermittent server issues taken care of first. There are not alot of people who will be ok with the idea of their controller being down for half the weekend.
As far as the reeflink goes, I havent had a chance to play with the WXM but it just seems like the ecosmart is not very user friendly.

It took me a little bit of time to get everything attached to mine originally, but it ran flawlessly afterward. I've been using a Reeflink since I got Radion G4 Pros, but will likely switch back to WXM soon.

I have a WXM and I have a reef link now.
WXM
The good:
Easy to use/intuitive
All in one platform
It looks the same on your phone, computer or tablet.
It works
Huge support forum and CS
The bad:
Mine crashed and left the light on. I panicked and bought the reef link.
It does not have the cool show off features like thunder storm or disco so you cant be the cool kid when the guests come over. This may have been due to my Radion spot being up to date on firmware. I'm not sure.

EcoSmart live crashes
EcoSmart live is not user friendly
EcoSmart live has flaws that show up in the app but not on the computer or the other way around.
EcoSmart live on the computer and on the app is not the same. You have to figure out what to do or read instructions for both.
Instructions are scarce
