Ecosystem Aquarium ECOMOD Maxi-Jet Pump Modification Kit Whats the watt consumption?

I am looking to purchase a few of these to use on my maxijet 600 and I was wondering what the watts might be after modification. I have searched around and looked into their website and came up empty handed. I hope you guys can help answer my question, thanks alot.

Thanks for your post, I placed a call to Ecosystems regarding your question, the gentleman on the phone said "There is no difference in wattage that we know of, we are using the same magnet size as the maxi jet people use, we made a wider propeller to torque more water"

He did make a mention that there are a few hobbyist that have actually done there own studies and have noticed no difference in wattage.

Thanks for the quick response, so if I put it on a mj600 it will still use 7.5watts? If so thats good to hear, I read that the sureflow uses 11watts so this concludes the choice I will make. I just hope they fixed that rusty shaft issues. Thanks again

Thanks for the reply, according to Ecosystems yes it will still use 7.5watts of power. As for the rusty shafts I believe that issue has been resolved.
