Ecotech Marine.. a worthwhile investment.

Just returned from Ecotech Marine HQ and had a positive experience. When I had an accidental disaster, Tim, the president of the company quickly and personally fixed the problem. It is evident that this company is dedicated to customer satisfaction and quality. Tim was extremely friendly and took time to show us around the shop and informed us of upcoming reef hobbyist events. I am very satisfied with my Vortech MP20 and wouldn't use any other pump in my Solana. If anyone is on the fence about buying one of these pumps consider it an investment in both a high quality pump and a company with excellent service. Best money I've spent on my tank yet.

I agree I love my MP20. I don't think I'd get another PH ever again. I guess if I got something for free I'd take it,lol.

First I've heard of a Vortech "falling apart", let alone 4. I've had 2 MP-40s for 2 years with zero problems.

I don't think I could ever go back to seeing powerheads with cords in my tank again.

+ 1 on the cords. I can't wait to get my second vortech and get rid of my last power cord inside the tank.

I had Tunze nano streams fall apart on me all the time. the clips are poorly made, along with the plastic housing for the powerheads themselves

For what I have read Vortech has a great customer service, but I have first hand experience with Tunze products, my 2 6045 Tunze's, I also had a problem with the clips and the shaft impeller but Tunze customer service is awesome, they just told me send the power heads and we will replaced them, got my 2 new pumps in 3 days.
