Ecotech Radion - Orientation question

I just ordered a custom tank with specific dimensions. 42L X 26W X 24H

I am planning on adding only 2 radion Led fixtures and was originally going to go parellel to the front panel. However, now that it seems to me I may get better spread if I go horizontal to the front panel. I've seen people with much wider tanks going this way but with my relatively modest size tank not sure best orientation.

Basically I have 21LX26W" area to cover per light. Based on that I would go horizontal.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :rollface:

Going perpendicular, pucks of each fixture going front to back will do a better job of reducing shadowing. Doing this, you'll have pucks arranged such that shadows will be reduced both side to side and front to back. If you arrange the fixtures in a parallel orientation side to side shadowing will be reduced but you'll have plenty in the fore to aft dimension.
