Ecotech Radion pro.. is one enough?

Hi,

I have a custom built tank, 24 inches length, 18 inches wide and 30 inches deep...I wanted to know if Ecotech radion will be enough for that depth... an i presume that i should go for the one not with Wide optics?? and finally would one be enough for this tank..? Many thanks!!

Is that for the xr15 or xr30? My tank is about the same only 20 inches long and the radion xr30 pro is waaaay to much light for mine. I have it set at 50% and it has great coverage with the stock lense. All my softies and SPS are doing great with it. Honestly I think the xr15 would have been enough but I wanted to over do it for any future tank plans

Deep generally refers to the distance from the front pane of glass to the rear pane of glass, so I'm not sure what your tank dimensions actually are. I think you are referring to how tall the tank is. If that is correct, I would get an XR 30 with the standard optics. That would allow the light to penetrate better.

I would recommend using a single XR30w G3 or G3 Pro Radion.

No, you will want to use the XR30w G3 or G3 Pro Radion with our Wide Angle Lenses.
