Ecotech Radion Scheduling

Is it possible to have one schedule for weekdays (Monday-Friday) and another for weekends (Saturday-Sunday).

Would like to have 2 different ones as viewing times are completely different between these 2 times.

I don't know if it's that great of an idea to change the scheduling up like that. I've always heard S.P.S.
Stability Promotes Success. By changing the lighting around I don't see that being very stable.
 
Im having issues using ecosmartlive as well. The connection manager wont allow my mac to connect. I log onto ecosmartlive and nothing happens when I click on aquarium set up. Ive followed the instructions in the quick start guide to no avail.

Whats up with the website? seems to be very buggy. Ive emailed support and hopefully someone can help. The lights are great- the connection with ecosmartlive is horrible.
 
Hope you have better luck dealing with them than I did. They literally told me " just keep pushing buttons" and " it's easy". That's all the " help" I received.

nope- the email yesterday from them stated- hey, the connection manager on a mac always says there are errors. just ignore it.

2 days between emails. Im done with these clowns.
 
thanks to ecotech- the radions are programmed. the software is a bit clunky- I need to play with it more but atleast the lights are set to auto on and off. thank you alex.
 
Alex- I'm typing from my phone and I'll try to get more detailed later but in a nutshell- there isn't an "execute" button. I make some changes to the lighting and then it's a bit confusing on what to do next to make the changes happen. Also, after setting up my aquarium- positioning the lights- then what? A bit unclear as what to do next. Also- there was connectivity issues where the radions would sometimes talk to the sub cable, other times I had to unplug and start all over again. Live demo- what does that do? Couldn't there be a better name? Granted I've had limited time with the interface but it's not the most intuitive. I'd be happy to make a detailed video for you guys on it and send it. A bit of background- I manage a website for healthcare peofessioanals- not the most tech savvy folks and we constantly tweak our workflow and interface to make it as easy as possible.

when I change a setting on the lights- how do I initiate the setting? Im trying to get a reef link started- its been updating firmware for an hour.
 
Got firmware updated but nothing happens when I try to connect to the radions. I sent a video of my screen to support. Really frustrated. Took me an hour to connect the lights with a usb cable and now I'm trying to do it wirelessly with no luck.
 
Alex - check with your support team about my reef link experience. I cannot get it to work. Very frustrated with the system. Lights are great and I can connect via usb (sometimes) but having a very difficult time connecting via reef link. Seriously doubting my purchase.
 
After numerous back and forth emails the system is up and running. Once you get it set up, the reef link works well.

I just wanted to post an update on anyone considering the purchase of a reef link. Its a good product, a bit confusing to get it set up with the instructions they give you but once its set up, it works well. Have no experience with Apex so I cant compare as this is all I have right now.
