So I finally got around to trying my PAR sensor on my Radion with wide angle lens installed. I've struggled to find good data on what effect the wide angle lens has on PAR.
Here's a picture with my numbers. Tank is a Reefer 250 which is 36" wide and 20" deep. All measurements were made where the green line is in the picture. The meter bounces around a bit when measuring and these figures represent the mid-point of the measurements.
RED = entire spectrum set to 100%, intensity 100%
BLUE = entire spectrum set to 100%, intensity 50%
YELLOW = high point of Ecotech's "radiant color" template
Blue, royal blue, UV @100%
Green @18%
Red @ 37%
Intensity 100%
Note that Apogee has a correction formula for parts of the spectrum that the SQ-120 doesn't measure correctly. These numbers are uncorrected.
