There is a veterinarian down my way who deals with exotic pets. They are willing to prescribe interceptor for our needs after I supplied many refenerancea and proper usage instructions

Since Brandon is new and doesn't know, Interceptor is a dog/cat heartworm medicine that also happens to kill an Acropora pest called red bugs. It works, but it's hard to get because you need a vet prescription.

ya know thats what I first thought of....Dog and cat meds. But then I thought what in the world would that be used for in the fish world.
