Bubble tip anemones I would love to sell a couple of the ones that I have but am not sure how well I can get them off of their base rocks. I

Tell your buddy you can gently finger-dance and coax the BTA closed, just by stroking the side of their main stalk. Then, you softly and gently liberate them from their foot hold. ("We pluck it!") They can be peeled off.

(It [profanity] them off to be closed & moved, but it's not bad really.

Another method I found useful was to (remove the rock from the tank) whack the rock with a hammer and chisel an inch or so from the foot. The vibration seemed to make the foot spasm and drop off. A few times, the rock would split where I didn't want it to split, so try to map out thwere it might split when performing the whack;).

Now that sounds familiar! Where have I heard that before?
