AS I don't have currently a way to measure ca/mg, I tried to test my water's hardness (real hardness, not alkalinity).
I used a test setup that I have typically used to test my tap water, which is EDTA based.
My tap water turns blue after 2 drops (2 gpg CaCO3), yet my marine water shows no change even after 200 drops!!
Does anybody have any experience with EDTA based testing? IS it unreliable for salty water?
