Eel for a reef tank

Was thinking about getting a eel, I don't have a huge tank just a 75g with about 75lbs or rock...what kind of eel would be small enough for my tank and would it eat every fish in my tank? I have 2 wrasse 2 clowns 1gobby 1 firfish and two shrimp, plus abuncha coral sps,lps and softies

Sounds like you want a dwarf golden moray! Only problem is they are quite expensive.

A snowflake eel would fit in your tank but your fish would potentially be at risk.

The other eels I've seen would be too big for a 75.

Dwarf golden is a good choice, though they're more pink than golden.

Skeletor eel . Not as pretty but a nice size for that tank.

snowflake is good and they generally dont eat fish (emphasis on generally) i have one and it doesnt and hasnt for over a year

I wouldn't do a snowflake. They get pretty large and will try to eat stuff. Dwarf gold moray or ghost ribbon eel are small enough to not eat anything besides hermits

dwarf gold moray are but prob will get lost in that tank, plus they are about 200$ more than a snowflake. ribbon eels are cool, but hard to feed and get a lot bigger than snowflakes. snowflakes are easy and all eat, just my .02

Ghost ribbon eels aren't as difficult to keep as the blue ribbon eels that you're thinking of. They're also on the smaller side and would probably be a good choice. Snowflakes eventually turn their predator instincts on and will try to eat any fish they can grab.

Agree with the above. If your going to invest, do it right, get the safer dwarf golden. Better than impulse buying an eel becsuse its in stock and it wipes out the tank mates down the road.
