Yea it looked to me like a fimbriated as well. I got confused where they put "Gymnothorax spp." being that they sell the fimby's on there site. Curious as to why they would do that if they regularly have the Gymnothorax fimbriatus... I will call and ask them?!? Just weird.

A lot of people more into corals and typical reef fish don't know much at all about eels, so I can easily see it happening that way. I'm sure there are other people there who know their eels.
